Ray's Corner

Ray Bender, moved first to Carlsbad, then San Marcos, after retiring from the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.  While he was assigned to the Los Angeles Harbor Department, he worked with the City of Carlsbad to restore Carlsbad’s Batiquitos Lagoon as mitigation for LA Harbor Department landfills. 

 

Ray received his law degree from UCLA Law School and his business degree from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.  He taught courses in Admiralty Law, Governmental Law, and Space Law as an adjunct professor at the Southwestern School of Law in Los Angeles.  He is also recognized for his reporting by the FAA.
